Our Cottages |
Open All Year, Short Breaks available. We are open all year including Christmas and the New Year. However we would recommend booking early for key dates. Apart from the usual peak seasons we do get especially busy during the seal watching season at Donna Nook on the Lincolnshire coast. So if you are looking for a break in November or early December, especially if it involves more than one cottage, then booking early will avoid disappointment. Any Length of stay, any day, Any Time of Year.We can accommodate you for any length of stay from one night to three months. Also we do not have fixed arrival days, so if you want to arrive on a Sunday and leave on a Wednesday then that's fine. Unlike many other similar establishments we welcome short breaks during peak seasons, so if you want a couple of days to visit friends or family at Christmas or any other time of year it is not a problem. One, Two and Three Bedroom Cottages. We have cottages sleeping 2, 4 or 6 people and can accommodate up to 20 people in total for that special occasion or family get together. Please click the links on the left for full details of our cottages. Our online availability is updated several times a day so you can rest assured that the information you see is as current as possible and if you're looking for group accommodation and want to check several cottages at once you can use our Quick Check facility which will let you know how many cottages are available for any given dates. All parking is off road and very close to your cottage. Lincolnshire, the Undiscovered County. We are located 2 miles from the centre of Louth. Louth is a gorgeous Georgian market town in the county of Lincolnshire. Lincolnshire is a largely undiscovered county and apart from the popular coastal resorts of Skegness, Mablethorpe and Cleethorpes it remains a peaceful and tranquil area to spend your holiday. The south of Lincolnshire is largely flat, but the areas around Louth (Capital of the Wolds) feature a rolling hilly landscape with the Lincolnshire Wolds being a designated area of outstanding natural beauty. Lincolnshire truly is a fantastic county with quaint villages and some superb walks and routes for cyclists. History restored. The cottages were converted from some 19th Century farm buildings and retain the names that were used during their original use. The Stable, for example originally housed the shire horses that were used to pull the implements to work the land on the farm. The conversion took over 2 years and for those interested there is a web log which was written as the work was taking place. It makes fascinating reading, even for me, a good reminder of what we went through to get where we are now! There is also our background page which tells the story of how we arrived at this Lincolnshire Farm in the first place. Quality Assured. All our cottages are assessed each year by Visit Britain which is part of Quality in Tourism and used to be known as the English Tourist Board. We continue to receive 4 stars for the majority of our cottages. The Bull Shed is rated 3 stars mainly due to the fact that it does not have a washing machine, however the quality of our furniture, fixtures and fittings is consistent throughout. All Major Credit Cards Accepted. We can accept all major credit or debit cards via secure online servers. Details of how to use this system will be sent to you once a booking has been made. You may also pay using PayPal or if you prefer to pay by cheque then that is fine by us.
